To define for the Executive how and when a measurement of the achievement of the project benefits can be made. The plan is presented to the Executive at the end of the project.
Ensure the plan is realistic when compared to the anticipated benefits, that it identifies the skills, individuals and timing for any monitoring work needed to quantify the measurements together with the reasons and ensure it covers all the benefits mentioned in the Business Case.
The post-project review is planned as part of Identifying Follow-On Actions (CP2), but the Executive is responsible for ensuring that the review happens after the project has finished. The Business Case and discussions with users and product support people will help when compiling this plan.
